Hua Hin, April 2017
When I was given the itinerary for #FamilyFunTrip by TAT, a visit to For Art's Sake 4D museum was probably the one I was looking forward the most. These past years I've seen many of 3D or 4D art museum popping out in various cities and yet I haven't really made some effort to visit one. Simply because I thought, "What's so exciting about taking pictures with some backdrop?" Boy, was I wrong! I had to eat my words because I actually was having so much fun during the visit.

one arm handstand? easy! :p |
I don't usually like being photographed because I'm just naturally awkward in front of the camera. I think I can never pull the right pose or my face looks unflattering. (I can't believe myself for asking Google 'Why I look OK in the mirror but bad in photos?' just now, lol!) Alrighty, perhaps I'm just being too harsh on myself. Now, back to the 4D museum!
It surprised me that when I was sorting out pictures for this post. There's actually tons of my pictures in some poses I could never imagined myself being able to do. Well thanks to the friendly For Art's Sake staffs who were enthusiastic telling me how to pose or where is the perfect spot to take good pictures.

Horror Zone! |
Opened in 2014, For Art's Sake was the first 4D museum in Hua Hin. The artwork were painted by Thai artists and divided into some different zones such as Imagination Zone, Childhood Zone, Hua Hin Zone, Illusion Windows and last but not least, my favourite Horror Zone. I spent most of my time with my ghost friends and wanted to take pictures in all part of the Horror Zone. It wasn't easy to act scared when my face was all big grin and giggling and looked way too happy. So the staff asked me to whip my long hair front, covering my face and became a red headed ghost instead. Ahhhh that's easier! :))

I surely had a good portion of laughs while posing and taking pictures. Thanks to the air con for saving me from sweating buckets. It intrigued me how some paintings could create the illusions as if the objects were real and 'pop out'. They really are mind blowing optical illusions. Not only paintings, there's also some sculptures and art installations that visitors could
play take picture with.
